Become a trusted expert in animal nutrition
Are you an ambitious graduate eager to develop into a skilled consultant? Our two-year Consultant Development Program at Schothorst Feed Research (SFR) offers hands-on experience, technical expertise and advisory skills to help you grow into a trusted consultant in the animal nutrition world.
What will you do
- Develop in-depth expertise in animal nutrition, feed formulation and optimization, and consultancy practices.
- Work closely with senior consultants, analyze data and develop feed strategies, and progressively taking ownership of projects and client relationships.
- Participate in structured training on advisory skills, communication, project management, account management and business development.
- Specialize in a key area of animal nutrition while developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Receive structured training in advisory skills, communication, and project management.
- Gain hands-on experience in real-world projects across different SFR departments.

Who you are
- A recent graduate in Animal Science, Veterinary Science or Agribusiness.
- Analytical, data-driven, and a strong problem solver.
- Passionate about helping customers optimize animal nutrition.
- A strong communicator, fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Willing to travel internationally (up to 25%).
- To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the requirements of the Dutch highly skilled migrant (kennismigranten) program, including the reduced salary criteria for recent graduates.
